Fall Engagement Session

Connecticut is always lovely this time of year. We all come out of our shells to live it up in the perfect weather with the changing leaves. Consume copious amounts of apple cider and pumpkin flavored everything. It’s so cliche and so wonderful.

Engagement sessions this time of year are full of frolicking in the grass, snuggling up in the corn fields, going apple picking and having warm cups of tea and coffee while we wear our coziest sweater. Okay, so that’s not just engagement sessions but everyday life and we love to soak it all up.

Sometimes it’s hard to choose when to do your engagement photos, but there really isn’t a wrong time, it’s more about what you want to experience. Say you’re getting married at a castle or a mansion, a venue full of epic architecture. You might then choose a beach to get your toes in the sand and wind in your hair for your engagement photos.

Or maybe you’re having a mid summer wedding at the marina and you want to go wander through the gardens or capture the cherry trees of spring time.

The engagement session is your oyster, so have fun with it. Make it yours. Make it meaningful. MAKE IT FUN!! We know you’re wedding will be too, but this doesn’t require a timeline or a photo list. It’s just the two of you!! And us, but we’re part of the fun part!
